Why Choose The Buzby and Blue Academy to Train Your Apprentices?
The Buzby and Blue Academy has been offering hairdressing apprenticeships and training the next generation of stylists for over 15 years, right in the heart of Chichester.
We have a dedicated training salon, where apprentices are able to work in a realistic salon environment. Apprentices are guided through the whole qualification, as we teach them every aspect of hairdressing. From the initial consultation to shampooing, colouring, blow-drying, styling, cutting and even perming. Our hairdressing apprenticeships cover both practical training as well as necessary theory.
Apprentice Incentive Payments
When hiring new apprentices in your salon, you receive an apprentice incentive payment of £1000. This is broken down into the following:
- £500 after 90 days of the apprentice's training start date
- £500 after the apprenticeship is completed
This incentive is valid for each apprentice you hire and take on in your salon. Apprentices must be aged 16-18 and be contracted for a minimum of 16 hours per week to qualify for this. We also offer a Level 3 Hairdressing course with an Advanced Learner Loan for individuals who aren't employed in a salon or wish to train independently.
